Steve Williams is a creative writer and storyteller working across editorial, brand and broadcast.

He started early. At eight years old, he was already writing detailed and entirely unsolicited observations about the playing styles and fashion choices of a midweek ladies’ tennis club. He has been documenting people, places and culture ever since.

Originally from Sydney, Steve has lived and worked in Singapore, Bangkok, Munich and Hong Kong, creating content for international audiences across multiple markets.

He is an award-winning communicator with experience across digital, print, radio, television, advertising, marketing and PR. His background also includes work in the music industry, along with voiceover and on-screen roles.

Steve contributes words and images to international magazines, newspapers and websites including Robb Report, Tatler, The Huffington Post, South China Morning Post, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Edge Singapore, Daily Mail Australia, news.com.au and a range of inflight publications.

His editorial work spans lifestyle and travel features, profiles, cultural commentary, opinion, reviews and news.

Alongside journalism, Steve writes website content, features, brand journalism, B2B and B2C content, PR materials and speeches for global clients including Google, Samsung, Marriott International, Siemens Home Appliances, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, Roche, BMW, Giesecke+Devrient, Mytheresa, Bosch and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, as well as and public-sector clients.

He also writes award-winning radio commercials and television promos, working comfortably across formats and platforms.
